The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of food and activity preferences on weight gain in 6-9 year olds over a 3 year time period.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of food and activity preferences on weight gain in 6-9 year olds over a 3 year time period.
Children ages 6-9 years old and their parent/legal guardian.
The study involves three visits to the University at Buffalo South Campus, lasting 60-90 minutes, one home visit lasting about 90 minutes and one lab visit per year for two years.
Participants and parents will be reimbursed $240 for completion of the study.
